Ra'ana Khan
About Your Coach

Ra'ana Khan, MA (Distinction)

Consciousness, Trauma & Neurodiversity Coach — guiding clients through deep, personalised transformation using trauma-informed methods, somatic healing, and advanced coaching technique.

"I work one-to-one with a maximum of four clients at a time — ensuring every journey is high-touch, tailored, and results-driven."

Ra'ana didn't set out to become a coach. She set out topull herself out of survival mode.

She's neurodivergent herself, not a footnote, but the lens everything else was built through. For years, she lived inside circumstances that felt impossible to name, let alone escape. In 2017, still in the middle of it, she authored a book, Falling in Love with Islam, Handbook 1: The Essentials of Islam. Two years later, at an age when most people had long finished studying, she went back and completed the Bachelor's degree she'd left unfinished twenty years earlier. In the years between and after, she founded TIM, The Improvement Movement, a small education-based NGO built from nothing but conviction, and earned her NLP Practitioner Certification, Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, Life Coach Certification, and Goal Success Coach Certification.

What came next wasn't a career plan. It was a self-rescue, and for most of it, she was searching without the one piece of information that would have explained so much: she didn't yet know she was neurodivergent, and neither did anyone around her. Every certification she earned in those years wasn't collected to build a résumé. It was collected because she needed the tools herself, one field at a time, still not fully understanding why no single one of them ever gave her the whole answer. It wasn't until her first term of her Master's that Leeds Beckett University arranged the testing that finally gave her a name for what she had been living with, and working around, her entire life. She spoke about this experience in an interview with Leeds Beckett's Carnegie Education blog. By 2022, she had earned her MA in Childhood and Early Years from Leeds Beckett University, with Distinction, understanding herself for the first time in a way that made sense of everything that came before.

Here's why that matters. No single field ever gave her the feeling of being fully understood, and now she knew why. A trauma specialist saw her trauma. A psychologist saw her mind. Nobody saw all of it at once: the neurodivergence she hadn't yet been able to name, the personality, the narcissistic trauma and the fight to survive it, all tangled together, none of it separable from the rest. She is not one dimension. Neither is anyone else. So she built SIM to be the thing she spent years searching for and never found: a single space built to hold the whole, complicated truth of a person, instead of the one narrow slice that any single qualification is trained to see. She continues to add to that space today, deepening her training in trauma healing, somatic practice, narcissistic abuse recovery, and neurodiversity coaching, so that SIM keeps growing the way she did.

That's the reason SIM exists in its current form. Not as theory borrowed from a textbook, but as a framework built by someone who did the work on herself first, so that no one else has to piece their healing together alone, one fragment at a time. Because the goal was never just to survive. It's to become empowered and thrive.

There's a story behind the name SIM. As a child, Ra'ana's favourite part of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves was the moment Ali Baba stood before the treasure cave and spoke the password — "Open, Simsim" — and the hidden gateway swung open. To her, consciousness coaching works the same way: it's a means of opening the gateway to your inner self, clearing the darkness so you can finally see — and polish — the treasure that was already there.

Ra'ana holds an MA with Distinction in Childhood and Early Years from Leeds Beckett University, and a BA in Social Sciences from the University of the Punjab. Her academic foundation sits alongside specialist coaching certifications — held with Distinction — in Trauma Healing and Neurodiversity Coaching, accredited by IPHM, IAOTH and CMA.

She is a Certified Somatic Reprocessing Practitioner, and holds further certification in Narcissistic Behaviour & Relationships: Psychology, alongside EFT/TFT Tapping practice, Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming — a toolkit built deliberately, one qualification at a time, over more than seven years of academic research and applied therapeutic training.

As an independent researcher and certified coach, Ra'ana works with a carefully selected group of clients, guiding them through the CRS™ — the Consciousness Recalibration System — a structured, six-stage journey from fragmentation toward integration. Her approach blends trauma-informed coaching, somatic nervous-system regulation, and consciousness work, always paced to the client's own readiness.

This is a non-clinical coaching practice and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or medical care.

Developer of NASI™

Ra'ana is the developer and Principal Investigator of NASI™ (Neurodevelopmental-Atypicality Structured Inquiry) — the assessment framework behind this site's free Quick Scan. NASI™ is currently in Phase 1 of an ongoing academic research programme exploring non-diagnostic, masking-aware self-recognition tools for adult neurodivergence, with a particular focus on communities where formal assessment remains largely inaccessible.

As with all of Ra'ana's work, NASI™ is strictly interpretive and non-diagnostic — a tool for self-recognition, never a substitute for formal clinical assessment.
